Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Ningaloo Reef, you will need to head towards Exmouth and then take the North West Coastal Highway (National Route 1) heading south. Continue on this highway until you reach the turnoff for the Minilya-Exmouth Road. Follow this road until you reach the junction with the Brand Highway (National Route 1). Head south on the Brand Highway until you reach Perth, then follow the signs for the Great Eastern Highway (National Route 94) towards Melbourne. Once you reach Essendon Fields, follow the local roads to Wirraway Rd and look for Hangar 7, which is where Rotor One is located. Note that this journey can take up to several hours, so plan accordingly.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Rotor One by public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Ningaloo Reef to Exmouth. From Exmouth, catch a bus to Perth. Once in Perth, use the public transport system to reach Essendon Fields. You can take the train from Perth to Southern Cross Station, then transfer to the SkyBus service which will take you to Essendon Airport. From there, you can take a taxi or rideshare to Hangar 7 on Wirraway Rd. Keep in mind that public transport schedules may vary, so it's advisable to check the latest timetables and plan your trip in advance.

• Taxi/Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or rideshare service once you arrive in Melbourne. From your accommodation or any central location in Melbourne, simply enter the destination as 'Hangar 7, Wirraway Rd, Essendon Fields VIC 3041' into your rideshare app or inform your taxi driver. This option provides convenience but may incur higher costs based on the distance traveled.
