The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Coolum Beach stop. From there, walk along David Low Way, then turn onto Emu Mountain Road, which will lead you directly to the Emu Mountain Summit Walk trailhead.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Noosa Heads. Start your ride by heading south on Noosa Parade towards Hastings Street, then follow the bike path along the coastline. Continue to ride until you reach the entrance of Emu Mountain Summit Walk on Emu Mountain Road. The ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

If you are up for a long walk, start at Noosa Heads and head south along the coastal walking path. Follow the path that leads towards Sunshine Beach. Continue walking along the beach until you reach Coolum Beach. Once you arrive, follow David Low Way and turn onto Emu Mountain Road, which will take you to the Emu Mountain Summit Walk. This walk may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your walking speed.
