If you are in Byron Bay town center, start at the Byron Bay Visitors Centre on Jonson Street. Head east towards the beach, then turn left onto Lawson Street. Follow Lawson Street until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Shirley Street and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for 'McLeods Shoot' on the right. Turn right onto St Helena Road and walk for about 500 meters. The Cape Byron Distillery will be on your left at 80 St Helena Rd.

Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Byron Bay. Start from the Byron Bay town center and head towards the beach on Jonson Street. Once you reach the beach, turn left onto Lawson Street.
