Car
If you are driving from Byron Bay, take the Pacific Highway (A1) heading north. Continue for about 80 km until you reach the town of Maclean. Take the exit towards Iluka (Brooms Head Rd) and follow the signs to Iluka. Once in Iluka, head towards the address H9Q5+X4, which is the starting point for the Iluka Rainforest walking track. There is parking available in the area, but note that there may be a fee for parking, so be prepared with some change or a credit card.
Public Transport
To reach Iluka using public transport, take a bus from your nearest location in the Northern Rivers to the town of Yamba. From Yamba, you can catch a local bus service to Iluka. Be sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary. Once you arrive in Iluka, head to the address H9Q5+X4, which is where the Iluka Rainforest walking track begins. Keep in mind that public transport may take longer than driving directly.
Walking
If you are already in Iluka, and wish to walk to the Iluka Rainforest walking track, you can navigate your way to H9Q5+X4 by walking along the local streets. Follow Charles Street towards the coast, then turn onto River Street, which will lead you towards the entrance of the rainforest walking track. This is a pleasant walk through the township of Iluka, and it will take approximately 30 minutes depending on your pace.
