Nimbin is located approximately 30 minutes north of Lismore and about 1 hour and 15 minutes west of Byron Bay. From either location, follow the main road towards Nimbin. Once in the vicinity, follow the signs to the village center. Parking is available in designated areas, but can be limited, especially during peak season and events. Be aware of parking restrictions, as Lismore City Council Rangers frequently patrol the area. Parking is available on Cullen Street and surrounding areas, with free day parking available at 74 Cullen Street. During the Nimbin MardiGrass festival, parking restrictions are in place in the center of the village. Typical parking costs: * Free parking is available in some areas. * Designated parking areas during events may charge a fee (approximately $10 per car during MardiGrass if you don't have an armband).

Public Transport

To reach Nimbin via public transport, take a bus from Lismore or Byron Bay. From Lismore, Northern Rivers Buslines operates several services to Nimbin Monday to Friday. From Byron Bay, take a bus to Lismore Transit Centre and then transfer to the 650 bus to Nimbin. The nearest bus station in Nimbin is Cullen St before Thorburn St. From there, it's a short walk to the village center. Typical costs for the final approach: * Bus from Lismore to Nimbin: Approximately $3 - $8. * Bus from Byron Bay to Lismore: Approximately $3 - $8.
