Car
From Byron Bay, head west on the Pacific Highway (A1). After approximately 30 km, take the exit for Bangalow Road (B61) toward Bangalow. Continue on Bangalow Road until it turns into The Channon Road. Follow this road for about 20 km until you reach The Channon. Once in The Channon, turn onto Terania Creek Road. Follow Terania Creek Road for about 6 km until you see the entrance to Nightcap National Park and the sign for Protesters Falls walking track.
Public Transport
From Byron Bay, take a bus to Lismore (check local schedules for the most current routes). Upon arrival in Lismore, transfer to a bus heading to The Channon. Once you arrive in The Channon, you will need to walk or arrange for a taxi to take you the remaining 6 km to the entrance of Nightcap National Park on Terania Creek Road where the Protesters Falls walking track begins. Please note that bus schedules may vary, and it's advisable to check the latest timetables.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service from any location in Northern Rivers, such as Byron Bay or Lismore, directly to the entrance of Nightcap National Park on Terania Creek Road. This option will be more expensive than public transport, and it is recommended to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
