    If you are traveling by car from Northern Rivers, head south on the Pacific Motorway (M1) towards Sydney. Take the exit for the Princes Highway/Route 1 towards Wollongong. There are several parking areas available, and you will need to park at the designated area and hike approximately 30-40 minutes to the pools along the well-marked trails.

    For those using public transport, take a train from Northern Rivers to Sydney, specifically to the Cronulla train station. From Cronulla, board the 988 bus to Bundeena. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once in Bundeena, you will need to walk to the entrance of Royal National Park. The walk to Figure Eight Pools from the park entrance takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Be sure to check the bus and train schedules ahead of time for accurate timing and availability. Note that the train ticket from Northern Rivers to Sydney may cost around AUD 20-30, and the bus fare is approximately AUD 5.
