As you approach Melbourne, merge onto the Tullamarine Freeway (M2) towards the city. Keep following the signs for the city and exit onto the CityLink (M1) toll road. Continue on CityLink for about 6 km, then take the exit toward Footscray Rd/West Gate Freeway. Follow the signs for City Centre and take the exit onto Dynon Rd. After approximately 2 km, turn right onto Albert St. The East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation will be on your left at 488 Albert St.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transport from Bendigo, take the V/Line train from Bendigo Station to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. The journey takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival at Southern Cross Station, transfer to the City Loop train service. Take the train towards Flinders Street Station and get off at Parliament Station. From Parliament Station, exit onto Spring St, then walk east on Spring St until you reach Albert St. Turn left on Albert St and walk for about 10 minutes; the East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation will be at 488 Albert St on your right.
Car
From Wangaratta, head south on the Hume Freeway (M31) towards Melbourne. Continue on the Hume Freeway for approximately 160 km. As you approach Melbourne, keep right to stay on the Hume Freeway, which becomes the CityLink (M1). Follow the signs for the city and take the exit toward Footscray Rd/West Gate Freeway. After about 6 km, take the exit for Dynon Rd and turn right. Continue for approximately 2 km, then take a left onto Albert St. The East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation will be on your left at 488 Albert St.
