5 Day Top End Camping Tour - Kakadu, Nitmiluk & Litchfield

Can't recommend it enough.

My partner and I have just enjoyed one of the most interesting and enjoyable holiday tours of our lives. We went with Neville and staff of OffRoad Dreaming to Kakadu, Katherine/Nitmiluk and the Litchfield National Park. The five day camping tour was full-on, but well planned. We saw and experienced an enormous range of flora, fauna and First Nations culture and rock art. Neville’s knowledge is only exceeded by his love of his subject. And he needs no lessons in catering, his Barramundi was better than Darwin restaurants! The countyside was stunning and the rock pool swimming holes heaven. Can’t recommend it enough. Beyond the Sights of Kakadu

We had a wonderful day in Kakadu with Rob — beautiful, engaging and genuinely informative. What I particularly appreciated was the depth of his knowledge and the way he shared it: naturally, through conversation and close attention to the landscape, rather than simply delivering facts. It made the experience feel personal and thoughtful. As a photographer, I especially enjoyed our conversations about the region, its people and different ways of looking at and understanding this extraordinary place. It certainly left me curious to discover more beyond what can be experienced in a single day. The landscapes were extraordinary, and the whole day was very well organised. If I could suggest one addition, it would be a swimming stop somewhere along the route. I would also personally love an opportunity for a deeper Indigenous-led cultural experience, perhaps connected to contemporary everyday life, if something like this could be incorporated respectfully into the programme. Overall, a beautiful and meaningful experience. I would highly recommend Ethical Adventures and Rob to anyone who wants to discover Kakadu beyond simply seeing the main sights.

An excellent adventure throughout the kakadu national park with our amazing tour guide Rhett leading the way. There was something for everyone to enjoy from aboriginal art to swimming in pools of freshwater we enjoyed our time on this trip endlessly. The people we were with where kind and welcoming making it easy to enjoy the outback to its full extent and making lots of new friends. Our tour guide Rhett couldn't have been better telling us amazing stories around the campfire and cracking lots of funny jokes that made us all laugh. He taught us lots about the area and aboriginal culture. Thank you for an amazing trip.
