From the Port Douglas town center, walk to the Port Douglas bus stop located on Macrossan Street. Look for the local bus service that travels to Mossman. You will want to board the bus that goes to Mossman as it will take you along Captain Cook Highway. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at Cooya Beach. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the bus stop for Cooya Beach is near the intersection of the highway and Cooya Beach Road.
