Start from the Port Douglas Village Centre, located at 2/30 Macrossan St. Head west on Macrossan St towards the beach. At the end of Macrossan St, turn left onto Wharf St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Coral Sea Drive. Turn right onto Coral Sea Drive and follow it until you see the signs for Island Point Rd. Turn left onto Island Point Rd, and walk straight for about 1.5 km. The Cruise Ship Viewing Platform will be on your right at 48 Island Point Rd.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the Port Douglas Village Centre. Ride south on Macrossan St towards the beach and take a left onto Wharf St. Continue straight, and when you reach Coral Sea Drive, turn right. Follow Coral Sea Drive until you get to Island Point Rd. Turn left onto Island Point Rd and continue for about 1.5 km. The Cruise Ship Viewing Platform will be on your right at 48 Island Point Rd.
Public Transportation
From the Port Douglas Village Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop on Macrossan St. Take the local bus service that heads towards Four Mile Beach. Get off at the stop closest to Coral Sea Drive. From there, walk along Coral Sea Drive until you reach Island Point Rd. Turn left onto Island Point Rd and walk for about 1.5 km. The Cruise Ship Viewing Platform will be located on your right at 48 Island Point Rd.
