Bus
From the central area of Port Douglas, walk to the Port Douglas bus stop located on Macrossan Street. Catch the bus heading towards Mossman. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction with the Captain Cook Highway (A1). Once you reach this junction, you will need to transfer to another bus that goes to Biboohra. Check the local bus schedule for exact timings and routes, as they may vary. Upon boarding the bus to Biboohra, sit back and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the closest stop to Golden Drop Winery. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk along Bilwon Road to reach the winery.
Bicycle
If you're up for a little adventure, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Port Douglas. Start by heading south on Macrossan Street, then turn left onto Port Douglas Road. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with the Captain Cook Highway (A1). Take a right onto the highway and cycle along it for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs to Bilwon Road and take a left turn. Follow Bilwon Road, and you'll arrive at Golden Drop Winery after approximately 2 kilometers. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay safe on the road!
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the central part of Port Douglas and head towards the beach. Walk along the scenic Four Mile Beach until you reach the end, then proceed to the Captain Cook Highway. Follow the highway south until you reach the Bilwon Road intersection (approximately a 10-kilometer walk). Turn left onto Bilwon Road and walk straight for another 2 kilometers until you arrive at Golden Drop Winery. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!
