From the Cairns Central Business District, head north toward Grafton Street. Turn right onto Grafton Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Spence Street. Turn left on Spence Street and proceed until you reach the Cairns Esplanade. Walk along the Esplanade heading north. After about 2 kilometers, you will come to the intersection with the Captain Cook Highway (Bruce Highway). At this point, you will need to consider taking public transport, as Centenary Park is located in Mareeba, which is about 40 kilometers away from Cairns.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Cairns Central Business District, walk to the nearest bus stop on Grafton Street. Take the Sunbus Route 110 toward Mareeba. The bus will take you directly to Mareeba. Once you arrive at Mareeba, disembark at the Mareeba Bus Station. From there, walk south on Byrnes Street for about 500 meters, and you will reach Centenary Park at 345 Byrnes St, Mareeba QLD 4880.

If you prefer cycling, start from the Cairns Central Business District and head north to the Cairns Esplanade. Follow the Esplanade until you reach the intersection with the Captain Cook Highway. You can then follow the highway northward. Note that cycling on highways can be dangerous, and it’s advisable to use designated cycling paths where available. After cycling approximately 40 kilometers, you will arrive in Mareeba. Once in Mareeba, navigate to Byrnes Street, where you will find Centenary Park.
