Public Bus
From Port Douglas, walk to the nearest bus stop along Port Douglas Road. Look for the Sunbus service heading towards Cairns. Confirm the bus number goes to Smithfield. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Smithfield, disembark at the Smithfield Shopping Centre stop. From there, you will need to walk for about 15 minutes towards McGregor Rd. Follow the signs towards Skypark Cairns, which is located at the end of McGregor Rd.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Port Douglas. Start your journey by cycling south along Port Douglas Road. Continue along the scenic route until you reach Smithfield, which is approximately 20 km away. Turn onto McGregor Rd and cycle until you reach the end of the road, where Skypark Cairns is located. The total cycling time is around 1-1.5 hours depending on your pace.
