If you are in the heart of Port Douglas, start at the Port Douglas Main Beach. Walk along Macrossan Street towards the north until you reach the intersection with Wharf Street. Turn left onto Wharf Street and continue walking until you reach the end. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Port Douglas Road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. The Wildlife Habitat will be on your left-hand side. Look for the large entrance sign.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Port Douglas. Start from the Port Douglas Main Beach and head north on Macrossan Street. Turn left onto Wharf Street and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Port Douglas Road. Cycle along the road for about 1.5 kilometers. The Wildlife Habitat will be on your left. There’s ample bike parking available at the entrance.
