From the center of Port Douglas, head north along Macrossan Street until you reach the intersection with Port Douglas Road. Continue straight onto Port Douglas Road, which becomes Captain Cook Highway (Highway 44). Follow the footpath along the highway for approximately 4 kilometers. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views of the ocean and the surrounding tropical landscape. Keep an eye out for any bus stops along the route if you prefer to take a break. After about 4 kilometers, you will reach Yule Point, located on the Captain Cook Highway. Yule Point is a small scenic area; you can enjoy the beach and the beautiful views of the Coral Sea.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Port Douglas. Start your journey by cycling north along Macrossan Street. Continue straight onto Port Douglas Road, which leads you to Captain Cook Highway (Highway 44). The ride is approximately 4 kilometers along the highway. Enjoy the fresh air and the stunning coastal scenery as you pedal towards Yule Point. Once you reach Yule Point, find a safe spot to lock your bike and take in the beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere of the area.
Public Transport
Head to the nearest bus stop on Macrossan Street and catch a bus that travels along Captain Cook Highway toward Cairns. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Yule Point. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Yule Point, you can explore the scenic area and enjoy the beach and ocean views. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip to Port Douglas.
