Walking
If you are in the main area of Port Douglas, head towards Macrossan Street, the main street filled with shops and restaurants. Walk northeast along Macrossan Street until you reach the end, where it meets Wharf Street. Turn left onto Wharf Street and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Port Douglas Road. Keep walking straight for about 15-20 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Four Mile Beach on your right. Follow the path to the beach.

You can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Port Douglas. Once you have your bicycle, head towards Macrossan Street and cycle northeast until you reach the end of the street. From there, turn left onto Wharf Street and continue to the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Port Douglas Road.
