Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Jindabyne, a common base for visitors in the Snowy Mountains. Head north on the Snowy Mountains Highway (B71) for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the turn-off to Geehi. Follow the signs to Geehi, and once you arrive, continue towards the Snow Gums boardwalk, which is located just off H89H+MJ, Geehi NSW 2624. There is a small parking area available near the boardwalk entrance.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transport, take a bus from Jindabyne to Thredbo. This service is operated by the local transport company, and you can check schedules in advance. Once in Thredbo, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the Snow Gums boardwalk. Note that public transport may not run frequently, and it's advisable to plan your trip ahead of time. Additionally, prepare for taxi fares, which may vary based on distance.
Walking
If you are already in Geehi and prefer to walk, from the Geehi Campground, take the walking trail that leads to the Snow Gums boardwalk. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take you through beautiful alpine scenery. Ensure you wear suitable walking shoes and bring plenty of water, as the area can be remote.
