Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Jindabyne, which is about 30 km away from Charlotte Pass. From Jindabyne, take the Kosciuszko Road heading towards the Thredbo area. After approximately 25 km, you will reach the turnoff for Charlotte Pass. Follow the signs for Charlotte Pass Resort and continue on the Alpine Way. You'll need to pay a park entry fee at the entrance to Kosciuszko National Park, which is around AUD 29 per vehicle for a day pass. Once you reach Charlotte Pass Resort, there is limited parking available. From the resort, follow the walking path to the Charlotte Pass lookout, which is approximately a 1 km walk and takes about 20 minutes.
