Getting There

  • Car

    To reach Charlotte Pass Boardwalk Lookout by car, follow Kosciuszko Road (B21) towards Charlotte Pass. From Jindabyne, follow the signs to Kosciuszko National Park. Continue on Kosciuszko Road until you reach Charlotte Pass. The boardwalk is approximately 500 meters from the parking area. Follow the signs directing you towards the Snow Gums Boardwalk, which will lead you to the lookout. Note: Park entry fees apply to Kosciuszko National Park. From June to the October long weekends, the winter entry fee is $29 per vehicle per day. During the rest of the year, the fee is $17 per vehicle per day. Parking is available along Kosciuszko Road above the village. Be aware that parking can be limited.

  • Public Transport

    During the ski season, a bus service operates from Jindabyne to Charlotte Pass. Check local bus schedules for availability, as services may vary depending on the time of year. From the bus stop in Charlotte Pass, follow the signs to the Snow Gums Boardwalk and the lookout, approximately a 500m walk. Note: Park entry fees apply to Kosciuszko National Park. Bus passengers are charged $11.45 per adult and $3.60 per child per day during winter. During the rest of the year, the fee is $6.60 per adult and $2.20 per child per day.
