If you are traveling by car, head towards Beachport, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from Millicent. From Millicent, take the Riddoch Highway (A1) south and continue for about 20 kilometers. Turn right onto Beachport Road and follow it for about 10 kilometers until you reach Beachport. Once you're in Beachport, follow the signs toward the beach area. Salmon Hole is located near the beach, and you can find parking along the waterfront.
Public Transportation
To reach Salmon Hole via public transportation, you can take a bus from Mount Gambier to Beachport. Buses run daily, and the trip takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Beachport, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Salmon Hole. Head towards the beach, and follow the coastline to find the spot. Be sure to check the local bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
Walking
If you are already in Beachport and prefer to walk, you can enjoy a scenic 20-minute walk from the center of town to Salmon Hole. Head south on Beachport Road towards the beach, and then follow the coastal path that leads you directly to Salmon Hole. This route offers beautiful views of the coastline.
