Getting there

Car

From anywhere in the South West region, head towards Patonga. If you are coming from Sydney, take the M1 Pacific Motorway northbound. Exit onto the Central Coast Highway (A49) and follow signs for Patonga. Once in Patonga, take Patonga Drive to the end, where you'll find a small car park near the Warrah Lookout trailhead. There is no entry fee for parking, but note that spaces are limited during peak times.

Public Transportation

To reach Warrah Lookout by public transportation, take a train from Sydney to Woy Woy station on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From Woy Woy, catch the 'B-Line' bus towards Patonga. Alight at the last stop in Patonga. From there, it's about a 30-minute walk along Patonga Drive to the lookout trailhead. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as services may vary, particularly on weekends and public holidays.

Walking

If you've parked in Patonga or arrived by bus, the Warrah Lookout is accessible by foot. The trailhead begins at the end of Patonga Drive. Follow the well-marked trail, which is approximately a 1.5-kilometer walk uphill. Wear appropriate walking shoes and carry water, especially on warmer days. The hike takes about 30-45 minutes, and you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of Palm Beach and the surrounding area.
