If you're driving from Cairns, take the Captain Cook Highway (A1) south towards Port Douglas. Continue on A1 for approximately 60 km until you reach the turnoff for the Bruce Highway (A1) towards Townsville. Merge onto Bruce Highway and follow it for about 90 km. At the turnoff for Tully, take the exit towards Tully/Augustus St. Continue on Tully for about 10 km and follow the signs to Mission Beach. Once in Mission Beach, follow Wongaling Beach Rd for approximately 5 km until you reach 32 Wongaling Beach Rd, where Big Cassowary is located. Ensure you have a GPS or a map for better navigation, and be aware of fuel costs along the way.
