If you're driving from Cairns, take the Captain Cook Highway (A1) southbound. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit toward Kuranda (M1). Follow the M1 until you reach the exit for the Kennedy Highway (A1) towards Atherton. Continue on the Kennedy Highway for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Atherton.
