If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Sunshine Coast. Head southeast on Nicklin Way towards Wurtulla. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Currimundi Lake and turn onto Wurtulla Boulevard. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the entrance to Currimundi Lake (Kathleen McArthur) Conservation Park. There is free parking available at the park entrance.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from the Sunshine Coast Transit terminal. Bus route 607 operates between Caloundra and Maroochydore, and you can catch it from various stops in the area. Make sure to get off at the Wurtulla Boulevard stop. From there, it’s a short 1-kilometer walk to the park entrance. Follow Wurtulla Boulevard south until you reach the conservation park. Be sure to check the latest bus schedules and fares, which can be found on the Sunshine Coast Transit website.

If you prefer cycling, you can ride to Currimundi Lake from nearby areas. There are designated bike paths along Nicklin Way that lead directly to Wurtulla Boulevard. It’s approximately a 10-kilometer ride from the central Sunshine Coast area. Once you arrive, there are bike racks available at the park entrance for you to secure your bicycle.
