From Surfers Paradise, walk to the nearest bus stop on Ferny Ave, which is located near the Cavill Avenue intersection. Take the G:link tram towards Broadbeach South and get off at the Gold Coast University Hospital station. From there, transfer to bus number 752 towards Springbrook. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Springbrook Rd at Goomoolahra Picnic Area stop. The picnic area is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to hike, start at the centre of Surfers Paradise and head towards the nearest bus stop to catch a bus to Springbrook. Walking directly to Goomoolahra Picnic Area from Surfers Paradise is not recommended due to the distance and terrain. The bus will drop you off closer to the picnic area, allowing for an easier hike once you arrive.
