From Surfers Paradise, walk to the nearest bus stop on Ferny Ave. Catch the 750 bus towards Nerang. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Springbrook Road near Carrick Way'. From there, walk south along Springbrook Road for approximately 1.5 km to reach the Springbrook Research Observatory, located at 2337 Springbrook Rd.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Surfers Paradise. Head southwest on the Gold Coast Highway, then follow the cycling paths toward Springbrook. The ride will take about an hour and a half, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. Once you reach Springbrook Road, turn right and continue for about 1 km to find the observatory.
