Keep an eye out for the large Gold Coast sign on your left as you approach the northern end of the beachfront. After reaching the end of the Esplanade, turn left onto Ferny Avenue and continue walking for about 5-10 minutes. You'll cross the bridge that leads to Chevron Island, which will be visible on your right.

    From any central location in Surfers Paradise, head to the nearest tram station on the Gold Coast Light Rail (G:link) line. Board a tram heading south towards Broadbeach. Get off at the 'Surfers Paradise North' stop. From there, walk towards the intersection of Surfers Paradise Boulevard and Ferny Avenue. Turn left onto Ferny Avenue and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Chevron Island.
