If you are in the heart of Surfers Paradise, start at the Cavill Avenue pedestrian mall. Walk towards the beach, and as you reach the end of the mall, take a right onto the Esplanade. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes along the Esplanade. You will pass several cafes and shops on your left. The Surfers Paradise Sign is located at 2 Esplanade, directly across from the beach. Look for the large, iconic sign which is perfect for photos.

Find the nearest bus stop on Cavill Avenue. Board a bus heading towards Broadbeach or Southport. Get off at the stop for 'Surfers Paradise'. From the bus stop, walk straight along the Esplanade for about 3 minutes. The Surfers Paradise Sign is located at 2 Esplanade, right across from the beach.
