Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the Sydney CBD, take the Southern Cross Drive (M1) and head towards the Airport. Continue on the M5 Motorway, following signs for Parramatta. Take the exit toward Auburn and merge onto Woodville Rd. Continue straight until you reach Chisholm Rd. Turn left onto Chisholm Rd, and you will find Auburn Botanic Gardens at the intersection with Chiswick Rd. Parking is available on-site, but be aware that some fees may apply.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  To reach Auburn Botanic Gardens by train, take a train from Sydney's Central Station to Auburn Station on the T3 Bankstown Line. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Auburn Station, exit the station and walk west along Auburn Rd until you reach Chisholm Rd. Turn right on Chisholm Rd and walk for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the gardens. You will find the entrance at the intersection with Chiswick Rd. Note that a train ticket will cost around AUD 4-5 one way, depending on your travel zone.

  If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch a bus from various locations in the Sydney Basin to Auburn. Check the local bus schedules for routes that stop near Chisholm Rd. One option is to take Bus 903 or Bus 906 from nearby suburbs. Alight at the stop closest to the intersection of Chisholm Rd and Chiswick Rd. From there, the entrance to Auburn Botanic Gardens will be within walking distance. Bus fares generally range from AUD 2-5 depending on the distance traveled.
