Car
From Sydney CBD, head north on the Pacific Motorway (M1). Continue on the M1 for approximately 90 kilometers. Take the exit toward Avoca Drive from the M1. Follow Avoca Drive until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Avoca Beach. Follow the signs to Avoca Beach. Look for parking areas near the beach.
Public Transportation
From Sydney Central Station, take the Central Coast & Newcastle Line train towards Newcastle Interchange. Get off at Gosford Station. From Gosford Station, transfer to the Route 22 bus towards Avoca Beach. The bus will take you directly to Avoca Beach, where you can get off at the stop closest to the beach.
