Car
If you're driving from central Sydney, take the M4 Motorway. Follow the signs for the M4 towards Penrith. Merge onto the Great Western Highway/A32 towards Glenbrook. Continue on the Great Western Highway for about 50 kilometers. Once you reach Glenbrook, look for the signs directing you to the Knapsack Viaduct, which is located just off the highway. There is parking available on the roadside nearby. Please note that parking is free.
Public Transportation
To reach Knapsack Viaduct via public transport, start by taking a train from Sydney's Central Station to Glenbrook Station on the Blue Mountains Line. Check the train schedule for departure times as they may vary. Once you arrive at Glenbrook Station, exit the station and head south on Great Western Highway. The Knapsack Viaduct is about a 20-minute walk from the station, located on the right side of the highway. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the walk.
Walking
If you are at Glenbrook and prefer to walk from the town center, head towards Great Western Highway and walk south. The Knapsack Viaduct will be on your right after approximately 1.5 kilometers. This scenic walk will also give you a chance to enjoy the natural surroundings.
