If you are driving, head towards Hornsby. From the Sydney CBD, take the Pacific Motorway (M1) north. Continue on the M1 and take the exit for Pennant Hills Road (A28) towards Hornsby. Follow Pennant Hills Road until you reach Hornsby, and then turn onto Lisgar Road. Lisgar Gardens will be on your right. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that some parking may incur fees, especially during peak hours.
Train
For public transportation, take a train from Sydney's Central Station to Hornsby Station. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes on the T1 North Shore Line. Once you arrive at Hornsby Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop outside. You can catch Bus 590 or 591 heading towards Westfield Hornsby. Get off at the Lisgar Road stop, which is a short walk to Lisgar Gardens.
Bus
If you are already in the Hornsby area, you can take local bus services. From Hornsby Station, catch Bus 590 or 591 that runs frequently to Lisgar Gardens. The bus ride is approximately 5-10 minutes. Alight at the Lisgar Road stop and walk a few minutes to reach the entrance of the gardens.
Walking
If you are near Hornsby Station and prefer walking, Lisgar Gardens is about a 20-minute walk from the station. Exit the station and head north along the Pacific Highway. Turn left onto Lisgar Road and follow it until you reach the gardens. This is a pleasant route with local shops and cafes along the way.
