    Car

    If you are driving from the Sydney CBD, head east on Elizabeth Street toward Liverpool Street. Continue straight onto William Street, then follow the signs for the Eastern Distributor. Merge onto the Eastern Distributor and keep left to stay on it. Take the exit toward South Head Road. Follow South Head Road, and continue until you reach Old South Head Road. Macquarie Lighthouse will be on your left.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Macquarie Lighthouse by public transport, start at the Sydney CBD. Take a train from Town Hall Station on the T4 Eastern Suburbs Line towards Bondi Junction. Get off at Bondi Junction Station. From there, take Bus 387 towards Vaucluse. Get off at the stop 'Old South Head Rd at Macquarie Lighthouse.' The lighthouse will be within walking distance from the bus stop.

    Coming from Bondi Beach, head west on Campbell Parade and then turn left onto Bondi Road. Continue on Bondi Road until it turns into Old South Head Road. Follow Old South Head Road for about 3 kilometers, and you will find Macquarie Lighthouse on your right.

    Public Transportation

    If you are near the Coogee area, take Bus 373 from Coogee Beach to Bondi Junction. At Bondi Junction, transfer to Bus 387 towards Vaucluse. Get off at 'Old South Head Rd at Macquarie Lighthouse.' You will see the lighthouse just a short walk from the bus stop.
