Getting there

Public Transport - Bus

If you are in the Sydney Central Business District (CBD), make your way to the nearest bus stop. You can catch Bus 324 from the Central Station or any nearby stop heading towards 'Manly'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Athol Beach' stop. From the bus stop, walk down the path towards the beach; it’s a short 5-minute walk.

Ferry

From Circular Quay, catch a ferry to Manly. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes, and you’ll be treated to beautiful views of the harbour. Once you arrive at Manly Wharf, exit the ferry terminal and walk to the bus stop located just outside. Take Bus 324 towards 'City' and get off at the 'Athol Beach' stop. It’s a short 5-minute walk from there to the beach.

If you are staying near the Manly area, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Athol Beach. Head towards the Manly Scenic Walkway, which is well-signposted.
