Getting There

• Train

  Start your journey at any major railway station in Sydney, such as Sydney Central Station. Purchase a ticket to the closest station to Brett Whiteley Studio, which is 'Central' station. From Central, board a train heading towards the 'T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line'. Alight at 'Museum' station (this is the closest stop). After exiting the train, take the stairs or escalator up to the street level. Head south on Liverpool Street, then turn left onto Elizabeth Street. Continue straight until you reach Raper Street.

• Bus

  From Circular Quay, locate the bus stop near the ferry terminal. Take Bus 343 towards 'Kensington', which will stop at Raper Street. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance down Raper Street, and you will find Brett Whiteley Studio at 2 Raper Street, Surry Hills.

• Light Rail

  If you are near the Light Rail station, board a light rail train heading towards 'Dulwich Hill'. Alight at the 'Surry Hills' stop. From the station, head south on Chalmers Street, then turn right onto Raper Street. Continue walking until you see Brett Whiteley Studio at 2 Raper Street.

• Walking

  If you are already in Surry Hills, you can walk to Brett Whiteley Studio. From the intersection of Elizabeth Street and Raper Street, head east on Raper Street. The studio is located at 2 Raper Street, Surry Hills, which is a short walk from this intersection.
