From any location in the Sydney CBD, look for a bus stop that services routes heading towards Elizabeth Street. Take a bus that stops at Elizabeth Street, either heading north or south. Disembark at the stop closest to Hyde Park. Walk towards the park entrance, and the Obelisk is situated within Hyde Park, prominently located on the eastern side near the gardens.

If you are near the Sydney Tower or Westfield Sydney, you can simply walk to Hyde Park. Head south on Pitt Street until you reach Park Street.
