If you are near Circular Quay, take Bus 441 towards Eastgardens. Get off at the 'Macquarie St opp St James' stop. From there, walk south along Macquarie Street for about 5 minutes. Hyde Park Barracks will be on your left at Queens Square.
Train
Take the train from Central Station towards Circular Quay on the T2, T3 or T8 lines. Disembark at St James Station. Use the exit towards Macquarie Street and walk approximately 5 minutes south along Macquarie Street until you reach Queens Square, where Hyde Park Barracks is located.

If you are at the Sydney Light Rail stop at Central, board a light rail heading towards Dulwich Hill. Get off at the 'Capitol Square' stop. Walk east on Campbell Street, turn left onto George Street, and then take a right onto Macquarie Street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Queens Square, where Hyde Park Barracks is situated.

If you are in the Sydney CBD, you can simply walk to Hyde Park Barracks. From Sydney Town Hall, head towards the south on George Street, then turn right onto Macquarie Street. Walk for about 10 minutes, and you will find Queens Square on your right, where the barracks is located.
