If you're starting from Circular Quay, walk to the Circular Quay bus stop located right next to the ferry terminal. Take Bus 333 towards Bondi Junction. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at 'Macquarie St Near Hunter St' stop. From there, walk south on Macquarie Street, and you'll find Hyde Park Barracks on your left at Queens Square.

From Sydney Central Station, take a train on the T2, T3, T4, T8 or T9 line towards Circular Quay. Get off at St James Station. Exit the station and turn left onto Elizabeth Street. Walk north for about 5 minutes, then turn right onto Macquarie Street. Hyde Park Barracks will be on your right at Queens Square.
