Getting There

• Public Transport - Train

  If you are starting from Central Station, take the T2, T3, or T8 train towards Circular Quay. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Follow the signs to the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, which is approximately a 10-minute walk along the foreshore, passing the Sydney Opera House.

  From Town Hall Station, head to the bus stop at Park Street. Take bus number 431, 441, or 442 towards The Rocks. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop near George Street and walk towards 140 George Street. The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia will be on your right.

• Walking

  If you are in the CBD area, you can walk to the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. Start at Martin Place and head towards George Street. Follow George Street south until you reach The Rocks. The museum is located at 140 George Street, which should take about 15-20 minutes of walking.

• Ferry

  If you are near the ferry terminals, take a ferry from Circular Quay to the Darling Harbour or Manly. Disembark at Circular Quay, and from there, you can easily walk to the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, which is a short 10-minute walk along the waterfront.
