Public Transport - Bus
To reach Nielsen Park from the Sydney CBD, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch Bus 324 from Circular Quay, which is near the Opera House. The bus stop is located on Alfred St opposite the ferry terminal. Board the bus towards Vaucluse and enjoy the scenic ride. Get off at the last stop, 'Vaucluse', then walk down New South Head Rd. After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Steele Point Rd. Continue on Steele Point Rd for approximately 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Nielsen Park.
Public Transport - Ferry and Bus
Start your journey at Circular Quay and take a ferry to Rose Bay. Once you arrive at Rose Bay, exit the ferry and head to the bus stop located nearby. Catch Bus 325 towards Vaucluse. Ride the bus for a few stops and get off at 'Vaucluse'. From there, walk down New South Head Rd, then turn left onto Steele Point Rd. It will take you about 5-10 minutes on foot to reach Nielsen Park.
Walking
If you are staying in nearby suburbs like Bondi or Watsons Bay, you can walk to Nielsen Park. From Bondi, head south along Campbell Parade, then onto Bondi Rd. Continue until you reach New South Head Rd, and turn left. Follow New South Head Rd until you reach Steele Point Rd. Turn left onto Steele Point Rd; Nielsen Park will be on your right. The walk may take around 40-50 minutes, but the views are beautiful.
