Train
If you're coming from Circular Quay, take the T2, T3, T4, T8, or T6 train towards Central Station. Get off at the next stop, St James Station. Exit the station and turn right onto Elizabeth Street. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Macquarie Street. Turn left and walk down Macquarie Street for about 300 meters. The NSW Parliament will be on your right at 6 Macquarie St.
Bus
From Sydney Town Hall, catch Bus 440, 441, or 490 from the bus stop on George Street. Get off at the stop on Macquarie Street, which is just a short walk from the Parliament. After you get off, walk towards the east on Macquarie Street for about 200 meters, and you will see the NSW Parliament on your left at 6 Macquarie St.
Walking
If you are in the Sydney CBD, you can easily walk to the NSW Parliament. Start from the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) and head south on George Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Park Street. Turn left onto Park Street and walk one block until you reach Elizabeth Street. Turn right onto Elizabeth Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Macquarie Street. Turn left onto Macquarie Street and walk for about 300 meters. The NSW Parliament will be on your right at 6 Macquarie St.
Light Rail
Take the light rail from the nearest station, Town Hall Light Rail Station. Board a light rail service towards Dulwich Hill and alight at the stop called 'Haymarket'. From Haymarket, walk towards George Street and head north until you reach the intersection with Park Street. Turn right onto Park Street, walk until you hit Elizabeth Street, then turn left. Continue until you reach the intersection with Macquarie Street, turn left, and the NSW Parliament will be on your right at 6 Macquarie St.
