The Gateway to Adventure: Overseas Passenger Terminal

Getting There

• Bus

  If you are starting from Circular Quay, take bus number 441 from the bus stop located directly outside the Circular Quay ferry terminal. The journey will take about 5 minutes. Get off at the 'The Rocks' bus stop, which is just a short walk from the Overseas Passenger Terminal. From the bus stop, head down Argyle Street towards the waterfront, and you will see the terminal on your right at 130 Argyle St.

• Train

  From Central Station, take the T2 Inner West & Leppington Line or the T3 Bankstown Line to Town Hall Station. Once you arrive, transfer to the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line and get off at Circular Quay Station. From Circular Quay, it's a 10-minute walk to the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Head northwest along Alfred Street, then turn left onto Argyle Street. The terminal will be located at 130 Argyle St on your left.

• Ferry

  If you are near Darling Harbour, you can take a ferry from Pyrmont Bay Wharf to Circular Quay. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Circular Quay, exit the ferry terminal and follow the signs to Argyle Street. Walk along Alfred Street and then turn left onto Argyle Street. The Overseas Passenger Terminal will be at 130 Argyle St, just a short walk from the ferry terminal.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of The Rocks, simply walk to Argyle Street. The Overseas Passenger Terminal is located at 130 Argyle St. If you are near the Sydney Opera House, it is about a 20-minute walk. Head towards the Royal Botanic Garden, exit onto Macquarie Street, and then follow the signs towards The Rocks. Continue walking until you reach Argyle Street, and the terminal will be on your left.

• Light Rail

  If you are starting from the Sydney Light Rail at the Convention Centre, take the light rail towards Dulwich Hill. Get off at the 'Pyrmont Bay' stop. From there, walk towards the Pyrmont Bridge and cross over to the city side. Walk straight to Circular Quay. From Circular Quay, follow the directions for walking along Alfred Street and then turning left onto Argyle Street to reach the Overseas Passenger Terminal at 130 Argyle St.
