Getting there

Train

If you're starting from Sydney's Central Station, take the T1 North Shore Line train towards Hornsby. Alight at Milsons Point Station, which is about a 10-minute ride. Once you exit the station, turn left and walk towards the waterfront. The H.M.A.S Sydney Monument is located near the entrance to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, around a 5-minute walk from the station.

Bus

From Circular Quay, catch the bus number 199 or 252 towards North Sydney. Get off at 'Milsons Point' bus stop, which takes about 15 minutes. After disembarking, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The monument is located near the bridge entrance, approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

Ferry

You can also take a ferry from Circular Quay to Milsons Point. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the Sydney Harbour and takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Milsons Point Ferry Wharf, disembark and walk towards the left along the waterfront path.
