Train
If you're near a train station, take the T2, T3, T4, T8, or T9 lines heading towards the city. Get off at the Museum station, which is the closest station to Hyde Park. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the Elizabeth Street exit. After you ascend from the station, turn left onto Elizabeth Street. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the northern end of Hyde Park.
Bus
Check the local bus services for routes that stop at Hyde Park. A convenient option is to take any bus that travels along Elizabeth Street. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Elizabeth Street and Park Street. From there, walk into Hyde Park, which will be directly in front of you.
Light Rail
If you are near the light rail stations, take the L1 light rail towards Central. Get off at the Capitol Theatre stop. From there, walk down Campbell Street and turn left onto Elizabeth Street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Hyde Park.
Walking
If you are already in the CBD area, simply head towards the large green space directly south of the Queen Victoria Building. Walk down Market Street, and turn left onto Elizabeth Street. Keep walking straight, and you will enter Hyde Park, which is a prominent landmark in the city.
Bike
Sydney has bike-sharing services available throughout the city. Find a nearby bike station and rent a bike. Head towards Hyde Park by cycling along Park Street or Elizabeth Street, following the bike lanes. There are bike racks available at entrances to the park.
