Walking
If you are starting from Circular Quay, exit the train station and head towards the Circular Quay ferry terminal. Walk along the waterfront promenade, enjoy the views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and continue straight until you reach the pedestrian path that leads to Macquarie Street. Turn left onto Macquarie Street and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see the Hyde Park Barracks at Queens Square on your right.

From the Sydney CBD, catch a bus that heads towards Macquarie Street. You can board the bus at any bus stop on George Street. Look for buses heading to the 'City' or 'Circular Quay' routes. After a short ride, disembark at the stop labeled 'Macquarie St opp St James Church'. From there, walk down Macquarie Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Hyde Park Barracks located at Queens Square.
