Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, start in the township of Nubeena, which is a central point in Tasman Peninsula. From Nubeena, head south on the Nubeena Road (C345) for approximately 6 km. Turn right onto Port Arthur Road (C344) and continue for about 5 km. Then, turn left onto Eaglehawk Neck Road (C344) and follow it for around 3 km. Finally, turn left onto Plateau Road, where you will find the Eaglehawk Lookout. There is parking available at the lookout.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, there are limited bus services available on the Tasman Peninsula. You can catch a bus from Hobart to Port Arthur, which operates a few times a day. Once you arrive at Port Arthur, you will need to hire a taxi or rideshare service to reach Eaglehawk Lookout, as public transport does not go directly there. The taxi ride from Port Arthur to the lookout will take approximately 10 minutes and may cost around AUD 20-30.
