Car
From Port Arthur or Eaglehawk Neck, take the Arthur Highway (A9) towards Dunalley. Continue until you reach the junction with the C344 at the town of Taranna. Take the C344 towards the Tasman National Park. Follow the signs to the Cape Raoul car park. The car park is located at the end of Tunnel Bay Track. Ensure you have enough fuel as services are limited in this area.
Public Transport
Use the public bus service that operates from Hobart to Port Arthur. Once in Port Arthur, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Cape Raoul car park. Note that public transport options may be limited, especially on weekends. It's advisable to check the bus schedule ahead of time and plan accordingly.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the Cape Raoul car park, follow the Tunnel Bay Track which is about a 4 km return hike to Shipstern Bluff. The track can be steep and uneven, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water. The hike offers stunning views, but be prepared for changing weather conditions.
