If you are traveling by car, make your way to Port Arthur on the Tasman Peninsula. From the center of Port Arthur, head south on Safety Cove Road, which eventually turns into Stewarts Bay Road. Follow Stewarts Bay Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will find Stewarts Bay Beach located at 19 Stewarts Bay Rd, Port Arthur TAS 7182. There is parking available near the beach, and no entry fee is required.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus service that operates between Hobart and Port Arthur. Once you arrive at Port Arthur, you can either walk or take a taxi to Stewarts Bay Beach. The distance from the Port Arthur bus stop to the beach is about 1.5 kilometers. Walking will take approximately 20-25 minutes, and a taxi may cost around AUD 10-15.
