If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the town center of Eaglehawk Neck. Head northeast on Eaglehawk Neck Road towards the Tasman Highway (A3). Continue straight for approximately 2.5 kilometers. As you approach The Dog Line, you will find the entrance on your left. There is limited parking available near the area.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to Eaglehawk Neck. You can catch the bus from the Hobart City Bus Station (located at 16 Elizabeth Street). The journey will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Eaglehawk Neck, you will need to walk approximately 2.5 kilometers along Eaglehawk Neck Road to reach The Dog Line. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity and prefer to walk, start from the local accommodations or attractions in Eaglehawk Neck. Head towards Eaglehawk Neck Road and follow it northeast for about 2.5 kilometers. This route offers picturesque views and is a great way to enjoy the local scenery.
