Car
If you are driving from Port Arthur, take the Arthur Highway (A9) heading north for about 14 km. You will pass through Eaglehawk Neck. Once you reach the small town of Eaglehawk Neck, turn right onto Waterfall Bay Track. Follow this road for about 5 km until you reach the Waterfall Bay Lookout parking area. Make sure to park your car in the designated spots.
Public Transportation
To reach Waterfall Bay Lookout using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to Port Arthur. When you reach Port Arthur, transfer to a local bus heading to Eaglehawk Neck. Once you arrive in Eaglehawk Neck, you will need to walk approximately 5 km along Waterfall Bay Track to reach the lookout. Ensure you have a map or GPS on your phone to guide you along the track.
Walking
If you are already in Eaglehawk Neck, you can walk to Waterfall Bay Lookout. Start at the Eaglehawk Neck town center and head towards Waterfall Bay Track. Follow the track for about 5 km. The trail is well-marked and offers several viewpoints along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
